blast (build and learn art • science • technology) is the founder and owner of the blast games.

The blast journey began during the summer of 2015. Vassilis Chryssanthakopoulos, an internationally acclaimed educational robotics designer and member of the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Experts Panel, realised his dream of creating an innovative educational concept, a total experience of learning, creativity and play.

The blast concept was inspired by the essence of robotics education itself. While learning through play, children develop social skills and computational thinking. The blast programs are based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) education, which aims at problem solving, rather than accumulating knowledge from various sciences.

The means for achieving a full blast of imagination and creativity are robotics, architecture and industrial design. Through all these fields, children develop their ideas, communicate and exercise teamwork, while having fun! But blast goes beyond education, constantly reinventing itself, constantly surprising its students and exceeding their expectations. Breaking the barriers of age or skills, all the students work together as real world professionals would, achieving their full potential.
